Shopping, partying, racing, Guns N’ Roses at Malaysia F1 Grand Prix
Celebrating its 15th edition this year, the 2013 Formula 1 Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix will be a not-to-be-missed event for motor racing fans as it offers a massive package of world-class racing, shopping, partying, entertainment and a date with the legendary band Guns N’ Roses at Sepang International Circuit (SIC).
Slotted as the after-race concert on March 24, the concert featuring Guns N’ Roses will be opened free for all Grandstand ticket holders. Those with Hillstand tickets, however, need to pay a little more to catch the legendary rock performance, which will be staged at SIC’s Helipad Area after the race.
“The after-race concert, however, would just be only one of many attractions at this year’s event, which we aim to make as the best ever in Malaysia’s F1 history. The 2013 Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix will be a massive celebration in the city with its festivities starting as early as a month before the event.
“And, to enjoy all these festivities to the fullest, we have introduced this year a special One Ticket Unlimited (1TU) package, which will provide fans with a host of privileges for the fans,” says SIC chief executive officer Razlan Razali.

Oil down as growth fears linger
Oil futures traded lower in the early going of Tuesday’s Asian session as fears about global economic growth crept back into the market.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, light, sweet crude futures for April delivery dropped 0.27% to USD96.14 per barrel in Asian trading Tuesday. Action was quiet in the oil pits on Monday as U.S. markets were closed due to a public holiday.
A spate of developed world economic data points released last week may be ailing oil futures today. Official data released Friday revealed that U.S. industrial production contracted by 0.1% in January, missing expectations for a 0.2% rise and well below a 0.4% increase the previous month. The U.S. is the world’s largest oil consumer. Continue Reading...

Passion, and persistence without exception are the two key things that would best describe Brendan James de Cruz as a person, and most of all, as a musician.
His strong vocals make up for his seemingly reserved personality, but stay a little longer and you’ll learn that this talented musician is so much more than meets the eye.
He is performing at Best Western Premier Dua Sentral in Punch Bar & Lounge till 28 February.
